Vintage Mersman Side Table Makeover (aka ‘Two Stains are Better Than One’)

Here is another piece from my stash. This was another Goodwill find from before they stopped selling furniture in my area.

It is a three-tiered, solid mahogany end/side table by Mersman. Beautiful and well-made, all it needed was a refresh and updating.

I found this vintage French Bombe table at Goodwill a few years ago. Those curves. Solid wood. Dovetailed drawers. Statement piece. I was smitten. And then into my stash it went!
